Creating impeccable finishes.

RH Gallery, Corte Madera, California. Custom patina finish for the café fountain.

Not just color. Architectural color.

Unified color.

Our approach is to produce integrated interior/exterior color environments. We find that architectural thematics; exterior siting; interior sightlines; interior and exterior applied materials; and ambient light are the key drivers of decision-making in successful projects. A useful summary: Clients have color inclinations, and Structures argue for color in architectural terms. Our task is to integrate the two perspectives.

Meticulous custom finishing.

Our talented finishers are known for producing silky smooth finishes, with even coloration across all expanses. Stain matching and calibrated color accuracy are a specialty.

Client perspectives.

“Since 1980 Color Folio Design has created unique color palettes and wood treatments for my house, studio and garden. For a one-room cottage they designed a natural stone floor with luminous quartzite counter and backsplash. They modified existing furniture by adding wood to metal and custom-made a walnut and Caesarstone desk. CFD envisions, dissects, and problem-solves big picture concepts down to the smallest detail to create beautiful, unified living spaces that deeply respond to their clients’ tastes and needs.”
